Active Metamaterials In article number 2303541, Ruike Renee Zhao and co-workers present a novel magneto-mechanical metamaterial that employs double-layer design to change area density while preserving the overall for good conformability during actuation. Magnetic actuation facilitates rapid reversible structural deformation between multiple modes. This allows control propagation of in-plane elastic waves different frequencies.
